Balinese Moon Ritual Ring

Drawn from the temple ceremonies held under the full moon in Bali, Indonesia. The designer captures the warm texture of moonlight through a cabochon cut — the oval cabochon center is a full moon hanging high in the sky, the surrounding halo is the diffused glow of the lunar corona, and the alternating baguette and round stones on the band are the incense and offerings lined on the temple steps. The ring condenses the mystery, serenity, and sanctity of a Balinese moonlit night into a small space — a wearable talisman of blessing.
