Inspired by the magnificent sight of thousands of pagodas emerging at dawn across the plains of Bagan, Myanmar. The designer arranges multiple oval green cabochon centers in graduated progression to recreate the visual hierarchy of pagodas from near to far, large to small — the breathtaking view from a rising hot air balloon, one of Southeast Asia's most sacred Buddhist sites. The largest cabochon dropping below is the mighty Dhammayangyi Temple on the plain, while the small red accent at the top is the first ray of dawn illuminating a pagoda's spire.
